ADIEU

56 th Batch

Bidding Adieu to Alma Mater......

(St Joseph College of Teacher Education for Women)

“Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again. I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins

that almost freezes up the heat of life. I’ll call them back again to comfort me.”

-William Shakespeare

Dear Students...

As you bid adieu to your alma mater, we hope you have learned much more than you have been taught during your short time here.We  hope the student in you respects the wisdom of experience more than the mere knowledge of life.

And yet you know and realize that St Joseph has given you a foundation to aspire for great heights and make a difference. It has instilled in you tremendous self belief and ardent faith in the Almighty. ...and also given you  an edifice to dream big....

Teaching creates all other professions.

The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without his teacher.

Teachers are expected to reach unattainable goals with inadequate tools.

The miracle is that at times they accomplish this impossible task.....GOOD LUCK

Thank you all....

You must move on and always remember to draw inspiration from the soul- stirring lines of Robert  Frost:

“Woods are lovely dark and deep

But I have promises to keep

And miles to go before I sleep.”
